
John Lyman is a Managing Partner at Outcurve. Previously he was a partner at Google Ventures (GV), where he led investments in companies like Toast, Podium, StockX, Andela, Flock Freight, Gametime, and Tend. Prior to GV he worked at Google for almost a decade, where he managed the company’s partnerships globally with incubators and accelerators, including Y Combinator and TechStars. He helped launch and was an early employee at Google.org, the Clinton Global Initiative, and the Center for American Progress. He is currently a fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He has an MPP from the University of California-Berkeley and a BA from Georgetown.

Eric Braverman is a CEO, founder, teacher, and Managing Partner at Outcurve. Named by Fortune magazine in 2010 as one of the “40 Most Influential Leaders in Business” worldwide under 40 years old, Eric has previously served as CEO of Schmidt Futures, President of Hillspire, CEO of Rex Group, CEO of the Clinton Foundation, and partner at McKinsey & Company and co-founder of its government practice. He holds a BA in biology from Yale College and a JD from the Yale Law School. He has been teaching at Yale on issues of technology, ethics, and innovation since 2012 and is a member of the board of advisors for the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. Eric is a member of YPO and serves on the boards of America’s Frontier Fund, the ASPCA, and other organization.
